The story of the Middleton homestead began almost 75 years ago, when Rusty's grandfather purchased the land that we now call home. It has been a farm ever since that moment. We have been married since 2002 and started keeping chickens for eggs shortly thereafter, but we didn't add Boer goats to our land until 2007 and Angus cattle in 2012. We usually keep around 30 goats, but kidding season adds another 20-30 to our herd for at least six months of the year.
Several years ago, we added some dairy goats to our herd to supply us with milk for the goat bottle babies that we occasionally have. Next, we started to sell raw milk to the public. Then, I decided to branch out into another venture and started making handcrafted goat milk soap and lotion. We loved the way it made our skin feel and Sassy Soap and Lotions™ was born!
We welcome anyone who wants to visit our farm. Kidding season is a very busy time of the year, with lots of people stopping by to see the baby goats. There's nothing better for raising your spirits than a baby goat hug! Contact us for the best time to visit. We would love to meet you!
Please shop our online store and try our Sassy Soap and Lotions™. It will leave your skin feeling soft and silky.
